The founder of PariCom, John Vandermey, started his professional marketing career over 26 years ago in 1987 at a Detroit based integrated marketing communications agency, overseeing the marketing communication services of the Ford Motor Company account.  John then served as the account supervisor on various other major automotive accounts for the same agency. In 1989, he was promoted to oversee all graphic design and video production for the agencies Detroit and Los Angeles offices, and was later transferred to the Greenville, SC office to direct the account services of the agencies new Michelin North America account.

John has served in a number of senior executive roles such as director, business development for a marketing services firm; as vice president, sales & marketing for a design/manufacturer of high-end interactive computing devices in the industrial and retail markets; as director, corporate relations and vice president, account services for one of the largest integrated marketing communication firms in the Carolinas; as interim executive pastor of a large local church ministry; and as a senior adviser/consultant in the airline, specialty manufacturing, video/high-speed data/voice industries and multiple non-profit ministries.
